Ducks Unlimited is proud to be a partner with Sacajawea Audubon Society to help give wings to the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve. Their vision to restore this vital wetland corridor to benefit wildlife and people and serve as a living classroom for generations to come, ties in perfectly with our wetlands conservation mission. We look forward to assisting with the wetland restoration and enhancements that will provide access, education, and viewing opportunities for this preserve.

Montana Freshwater Partner (formerly Montana Aquatic Resources Services) is honored to be a partner with the Sacajawea Audubon Society to restore the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve.  Together, we are stepping up at a local level to address the loss and degradation of wetlands and streams due to development pressure in the Gallatin Valley over the last 20 years.  We’re working together on an innovative and creative approach to enhance, protect and restore this valuable community asset while also providing a unique educational opportunity for the community to connect to wetlands and the critical habitat they provide for birds and wildlife.

The Gallatin Watershed Council is excited to assist with community outreach and volunteer programming for the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve. GWC guides unified stewardship of the Lower Gallatin Watershed for a healthy and productive landscape. This project is situated to improve the quality of local waterways, inspire the hearts and minds of many, and is a model for watershed stewardship in an urban setting.  We are proud to be part of this collaborative, grassroots project that will preserve a vital resource for generations to come.

We at Confluence adhere to four core values, one of which is, “Inspired by Nature”.  We knew that the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve project was a good fit for our team because of the inspired nature of the Sacajawea Audubon’s Board, as well as their wonderful vision to transform the site based on the work of our region’s greatest ecosystem architect – the beaver and their incredible wetland complexes.  From the beginning our staff have been energized by their enthusiastic, conscientious approach to the project – watch out, its infectious!
