Celebrate biodiversity and contribute to citizen science at your local wetland! Join the Sacajawea Audubon Society at the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve (IAWP) for our third annual BioBlitz on July 19, 20, and 21!

A BioBlitz is a citizen science project where community members work together to identify as many species as possible within a set time frame. At the IAWP, this event provides a yearly snapshot of the species present, helping us track changes due to wetland restoration and environmental shifts in Bozeman and the surrounding area.

Participants can join as many teams as they like, focusing on birds, insects, plants, and more. No experience is necessary—each team will be guided by an expert to help identify species. All observations will be recorded in iNaturalist, with preliminary data presented at a wrap-up event on Sunday night, July 21.
