 Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve map

Located just southeast of Bozeman’s Village Downtown neighborhood, the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve is Montana’s largest restored urban wetland. Access is available via Village Crossing Way or East Main Street. We encourage you to review the preserve map in advance to select a convenient parking area and walking route.

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages and will showcase how simple, everyday observations—like photographing landscapes, monitoring air quality, or identifying plants and birds—can contribute meaningful data to scientific research and conservation.

What to Expect

Hear from local experts:

  • Matt Lavin – iNaturalist
  • Ben Goodheart – eBird
  • Frank Marchak – Nature’s Notebook
