Volunteers help with activities such as water monitoring, planting native vegetation, removing invasive species, maintaining trails, monitoring wildlife, serving as interpretive hosts and supporting educational programs. During this orientation, participants will learn about the restoration vision for the preserve, upcoming volunteer opportunities, safety guidelines, and how their efforts will help build a healthier wetland ecosystem for people, birds and wildlife.
